(Text 3)

M:I’d like two tickets for the 10 o’clock train to Pittsburgh, please.

W:One way,or round trip?

M:One way, please.Oh,and one of them is for a child.

W:Fine.That comes to 134.00.

(Text 4)

M:I bought two expensive novels here 15 minutes ago,but I forgot to take them with me.

W:Who served you,sir?

M:The girl who was busy writing over there.

(Text 5)

M:As a rule I do.But I cannot follow the new songs.

M:Yes.The nearest one is next to the bank. It’ s quite modern.

M:Yes.Drive west for about two minutes and you will find one opposite to a supermarket. It’s a family hotel, very comfortable, and  the price is quite reasonable.

M:That’s all right.

(Text 7)

M:So you are to leave all of us.How can you do that? What shall we do without you?

W:Don’t worry.I’ll be back in five or six days.

(Text 10)

Good morning and welcome to the Life Review.Do you know how many men do housework?  Recently,a European official group tried to discover what people’ s ideas were about the women’ s movement. As part of their survey, they asked many men and women the question,“Who does the housework?”The men answered very differently from  the women! The housework they asked people about was preparing  meals, washing dishes, cleaning  the  house  and  baby-sitting.48%  of  British husbands said they did this kind of work.51% of Danish men  said they helped in the house.15% of Italian men said they did the housework. But there was an interesting point of view from the wives.According to British wives, only 38% of their husbands help in the house. And Italian wives complained that their husbands hardly ever help. The Italian and British men didn’t tell the truth! The group found that Danish men were the most truthful husbands.Their answers  were the same as their wives.
